BLOG POST 9/14/23

Hey welcome to the website. I'm starting my blog today and then eventually I'll get to work on other stuff.

Currently I'm going through the Splatoon 3 Grand Festival splatfest and having a ball- on Team Present. This is important ok.

Also the sequel to Grapple Dog came out the other day and I started it last night. The first one blew me away and this one is already knocking the first out of the park, there's so much happening and I love it all. The music rocks even harder, the gameplay is updated to where Pablo (1st game's dog) has a punch dash, which feels a lot better than not having any forward-moving move like the first game, and then the new dog Luna has a ton of stuff going for her. She has this twin-stick shooter moveset going on AND has a longer dash (not sure if it counts as a punch, haven't tried that yet), plus she might be trans? This is only based on a small line of dialogue she had in the beginning, no clue if that's true or not. Would be cool though. Trans rights btw. The grapple feels good as always, maybe even a little better this time around? Something about it feels polished and I dunno what, it feels like momentum is a little easier to build when swinging, and in general.

In other news I started training at a new fast-coffee chain location the other day. Staff's nice enough but there's no way I'm telling them I'm trans or anything until I know for sure they're chill about it. Starting part time somewhere else too, and it's the same thing but I think that crowd is gonna be more accepting.
